Blogging again
Facebook, twitter and blogging whilst valuable in terms of keeping in touch, all take time and now that I have a little more time on my hands than I did, I hope to be more assiduous in keeping this SSIM blog up to date. Please contribute here and on our Facebook page
Dialogue with Trypho is the blog of the Societas Sancti Iustini Martyris (SSIM) rendered in English as the Society of S Justin, Martyr. SSIM is a confraternity of Catholics whose apostolate is to visit ancient sites (Abbeys, Cathedrals, Churches, Martyr sites etc) asociated with Catholic worship and witness in the past and there to make acts of reparation and offer prayers for the lving and the dead.
Any Catholic who agrees to observe the simple rules is welcome to apply for membership (if resident in the UK or Ireland) or associate meembership (if resident elsewhere).
Contact the Chamberlain for an application form or visit the website for more information.
The current Master of SSIM is Graeme Jolly a layman and founder member. He is supported by a Chapter consisting of Revd Peter Lyness, Chaplain General, Antony Pinchin, Chamberlain, Revd Neil Reynolds and Steven McKenna.
